Spread across three expansive floors, the Unilever Bangladesh office is a modern, sustainable workspace that champions agility, inclusivity, and brand identity. As a USGBC LEED Goldcertified project, the design not only meets global environmental standards but also celebrates the spirit of Unilever-blending flexibility, vibrancy, and a strong sense of purpose.
Unilever sought a future-ready office that reflects its progressive values and diverse portfolio. The brief emphasized:
• Creating an agile and collaborative work environment
• Promoting LGBTQ+ friendly design space
• Achieving high sustainability benchmarks (LEED certification)
• Embedding brand language and product essence into the visual narrative
• Adopting the post covid requirements, allowing people to come to office & socialize
Functional Flexibility
Designing modular zones to support dynamic team structures and
fluid workstyles.
Cultural Integration
Translating Unilever’s vast product range and brand ethos into
meaningful spatial elements.
Sustainability Standards
Meeting stringent LEED Gold requirements without compromising
on aesthetic or spatial flow.
User-Centric Approach
Balancing openness and privacy in a people-first layout that caters to both focused work and collaboration.
We delivered a vibrant, human-centric workspace that mirrors Unilever’s identity and operational goals. Agile workstations, wellness zones, and diverse collaboration hubs are spread across the three floors to encourage flexibility and interaction. For the very first time we built a restroom dedicated for LGBTQ+, uplifting inclusivity & diversity for all. Brand storytelling is subtly embedded using Unilever’s colour palette, environmental graphics, and spatial cues drawn from its product lines. The design not only supports business functionality but also reflects Unilever’s commitment to sustainability - making the Bangladesh headquarters a benchmark for contemporary corporate design in South Asia.
